MEET
INGRID JOHNSON

— My Story

I hold a Master Degree in Exercise Science and Bachelor’s Degree in Music, from the University of Michigan, with 20 years of full-time experience in the field of Exercise and Pilates. I was in the first graduating class of STOTT Pilates, in Michigan and have now taught Pilates all over the world –in Europe, Japan, and Africa. I worked as a trainer for the Exclusive Peter Nielsen “Eye of the Tiger” (voted as one of the TOP TEN clubs in the US), YMCA, and Weight Watchers, before moving to Encinitas, CA. I am currently working at Pillar Performance and Outdoors, I love it there!

My Postgraduate work is in Corrective High-Performance Exercise Kinesiology and Golf Biomechanics at the Internationally Renowned CHEK Institute. I have produced my own one- of- a -kind Pilates based Golf Conditioning DVD’s, and training protocol, that has sold in over 20 countries, and helped thousands of golfers improve their game and to become pain-free.

 

You can find me teaching Pilates, Golf and Ski Conditioning, and Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s classes in Encinitas, California. You can train with me in English, Swedish, Estonian and French
